About
Dr. Brock Bennion — "Dr. B" to most of his patients — grew up in the suburbs of Salt Lake City, Utah, and fell for Texas the moment he arrived: the people, the pace, the culture. He and his family now proudly call it home.
Dr. Bennion is the reason a lot of nervous patients finally feel at ease in a dental chair. He's gentle, unhurried, and genuinely allergic to pressure — he'd rather take the time to explain your options honestly than push you toward treatment you don't need. He practices across the Old Betsy Dental offices.
Alongside general and family dentistry, he's one of the two doctors behind our implant, full-arch, and sleep work.
Education & Training
Dr. Bennion earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Utah School of Dentistry in 2021. He's certified in Level 1 sedation — one of the ways he helps anxious patients stay relaxed and comfortable — and has completed more than 300 hours of advanced continuing education in dental sleep medicine, implants, and other modern techniques.
Dr. Bennion also holds the Qualified Dentist designation from the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) — the nation's leading professional organization for dental sleep medicine — recognizing his training in treating snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy, the kind of credential sleep physicians and medical insurers look for.
